- Scope & Purpose
Avantgarde Vision Luxembourg ASBL (“Avantgarde”) operates a discipline-based digital platform designed to provide visibility, orientation, and access within the creative ecosystem.
Avantgarde provides platform infrastructure only.
It does not act as an agency, management, representative, employer, recruiter, or service provider for its users.
- Registration & Membership
Registration on the Avantgarde platform creates a user profile. Visibility on the platform is unconditional and does not require a paid membership.
Paid memberships provide access to additional platform features and functionality but do not imply promotion, representation, selection, or guaranteed outcomes. Avantgarde reserves the right to review, approve, or remove profiles in line with its purpose and these terms.
- No Outcome Guarantees
Avantgarde does not guarantee:
- professional opportunities
- collaborations or bookings
- funding, commissions, or employment
- visibility results or selection outcomes
All interactions, communications, and outcomes resulting from platform use occur independently between users and third parties.
- Platform Role & Limitation of Liability
Avantgarde provides technical and organisational infrastructure only.
Avantgarde is not responsible for:
- the accuracy or completeness of user-provided information
- the conduct of users or third parties
- agreements, contracts, or communications between users
- cancellations, changes, or disputes related to published opportunities
To the extent permitted by Luxembourg law, Avantgarde excludes liability for indirect or consequential damages.
- Advisory Board & Ambassadors
Members of the advisory board and ambassadors act in an independent, non-executive, and non-representative capacity.
Their involvement does not constitute:
- professional advice
- representation or endorsement
- responsibility for platform decisions or outcomes
Advisory board members and ambassadors are not liable for actions taken by Avantgarde, its users, or third parties.
6. Content & Intellectual Property
Users remain fully responsible for all content they upload or submit.
By submitting content, users confirm that:
- they hold the necessary rights
- the content does not infringe third-party rights
Avantgarde may display submitted content within the scope of platform operation.
7. Changes, Suspension & Termination
Avantgarde may update platform features, membership structures, or these terms.
Existing memberships will not be reduced in scope without prior notice.
Avantgarde may suspend or remove profiles that violate these terms or conflict with the platform’s non-profit purpose.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Luxembourg.
The place of jurisdiction is Luxembourg.
Community Guidelines
(Code of Conduct)
- Purpose
Avantgarde is a professional, discipline-based platform designed to enable visibility, orientation, and access within the creative ecosystem.
These guidelines exist to ensure a constructive, respectful, and reliable environment for all users.
- Professional Conduct
Users are expected to:
- provide accurate and truthful information
- engage respectfully with other users
- use the platform for professional and ecosystem-related purposes
Misrepresentation, impersonation, or misleading information is not permitted.
- Prohibited Use
The following is not permitted:
- harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour
- unsolicited commercial outreach or spam
- misuse of profiles or submissions for purposes unrelated to the platform
- content that infringes third-party rights or applicable laws
- Content Responsibility
Users remain fully responsible for all content they upload or submit. Avantgarde does not actively moderate content but reserves the right to review and remove content that violates these guidelines or the General Terms & Conditions.
- Enforcement
Avantgarde may:
- issue warnings
- limit functionality
- suspend or remove profiles
Decisions are made at Avantgarde’s discretion and do not require justification beyond reference to these guidelines and the GTC.
These Community Guidelines form part of the General Terms & Conditions. Violations may result in actions as described in the GTC.
Privacy Policy (GDPR)
